Share your feedback on the COO’s proposed Demographic Data Collection Project

The College is considering a new diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiative and we want your input before moving forward.
 
If implemented, the project would see the COO launch a survey to collect demographic data from registrants on a completely voluntary basis. The information collected would help the COO better understand the demographic makeup of the opticianry profession, identify potential gaps in representation, and inform future DEI initiatives.
 
Before we move forward, we would like your feedback on the proposed project and the questions that the COO plans to ask.
 
Learn more about the project by reviewing the explanatory document, including how the COO plans to safeguard the information that would be collected. You can also review the proposed survey questions and share your feedback on whether they are inclusive, respectful and relevant.
