The draft Standard of Practice and Practice Guidelines: Standard 10: Delegation survey closes on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Reading the document and completing the survey can be counted towards your self-directed CE for the year. We value your feedback, and the Clinical Practice Committee and the Board of Directors will consider it carefully. For more information, click here. 

Renewal Reminder 

Planning to practice opticianry in 2021? Log in to the Registrant Portal to complete your registration. Take advantage of the pandemic relief $250 reduction of registration fees and renew your registration by December 31, 2020. For help, contact us at registration@collegeofopticians.ca  

Election Results for District 5 (Toronto) 

Voting in District 5 closed at noon on Monday, November 9, 2020. Congratulations to Ms. Dorina Reiz. Ms. Reiz will begin serving a three-year term of office effective January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.

Under the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the College's Standard of Practice, it is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with your patient's rights to access their information.
